Maria's make-up remover series-6- Boots Simply Sensitive Face Wipes

Hi,

This is the next part of my make-up remover series, which I started last year.  Today I am going to be reviewing the Simply Sensitive Face Wipes which is a Boots Brand, and cost £2.79 but are currently half price at £1.39 which is what I paid for them.

I really like these wipes, as what the name suggest they are sensitive, and are great for taking make-up off the eye area, especially water-proof mascara, which I wear everyday and they leave your face feeling fresh and clean.

I also think that they are very similar the the Simple make-up wipes which are £3, so even when the Boots or Simple one's are not on offer they are still cheaper!  However I would say that they Simple wipes are a little thicker but I don't think that this makes a big difference!

Overall I highly recommend these wipes and will defiantly be picking up a few more packs while they are on offer!

What are your favourite make-up wipes? or do you just buy the ones that are on offer?

Review:Collection 2000 Sky Scraper Mascara

Hi,

Today I am going to be reviewing the Sky Scraper mascara by collection 2000, which is available from Boots and Superdrug in the UK and costs £4.99 (but is currently on offer in Boots for £3.99), but I got mine for just £1 from Pound Land!, Which I recommend looking in as they have a lot of high street brands in including Revlon nail varnish that have a RRP of £6.49!

Back to the Mascara, this is the 2nd tube I have had and I still love it!, it really is waterproof and lasts all day, and is very lengthening and defining like the packaging suggests.

My Favourite Fragrance: SJP NYC

Hi,

Today I am going to be telling you about my favourite fragrance which is NYC by Sarah Jessica Parker, and is available from Boots and Superdrug stores and online, and prices start from £14.50 for 15ml.

I have loved this scent for around 2 years now, because I love the light fruity scent and lasts a long time as well.

The fragrance is also excellent for travelling as it has the glass bottle within the plastic outer packaging.

Overall I really recommend this scent as a lovely daytime fragrance that can also be carried over to the night!

What is your current favourite scent?

Review:Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Hi,

Today I will be reviewing the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 040 Rendezvous, which is a bright coral colour, and is available in Boots and Superdrug and costs £7.99.
http://www.boots.com/en/Revlon-Just-Bitten%E2%84%A2-Kissable-Lip-Balm-Stain_1208067/

When it comes to lip colour, I love it but hate the up keep (re-applying it throughout the day!), therefore this balm stain is Perfect.  When you apply it there is a minty smell but goes away straight away, and the colour is lovely, when you first apply it, you get a lovely glossy colour, which will last quite a few hours, but even when the glossiness fades the colour stays! that's the reason I love this product and it doesn't dry your lips out either!

Overall I really like this product and will be trying more shades!

Have you tried the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain's, what's your favourite shade?

Overall I really like these blushers and wear them on a regular basis- and really recommend them at just £1!

What's your favourite high street blush?

Review: NYC Liquid Eyeliner

Hi,

If you have read any of my other eye liner reviews, you may notice sometime's they aren't very positive, because I have very watery eyes and oily eye lids, therefore I find it difficult to find an eye liner that will stay put!

A couple of weeks ago I was in the local pound shop with my mum 'Pound World', and noticed they had some NYC products in what I think is the American packaging as I haven't seen that type of packaging in the UK before.

So I picked up the NYC Liquid Eyeliner in 860, Jet Black, with a brush tip applicator it does take some practice to get use to, but I Love it!

With having the brush tip it means that you can get any look you are trying to achieve weather that be a thin line or a bold thick one, and it goes on very black as well.

The best part about it for me is that it last ALL DAY!!!!!, and does not budge but is easy to get off at the end of the day as well- the best of both worlds!

I totally recommend this eye liner, and at just a pound it is a steal!

Drug store/High street Make-Up Haul!

Hi,

I'm back, after having a break from blogging over the summer, I'm back with a haul- the first on my blog!

Today I went into Boots, to the Number 7 counter, and was matched to a foundation using their new foundation matching machine.  First the assistant removed my make up, and applied a moisturiser and asked what are the main problems with my skin an went on to match my colour and chose the stay perfect foundation as the best foundation for me, and I am in the lightest shade Calico.
I'm really happy with the colour and it has a nice staying power and coverage also!

Then I went into Superdrug, as there was an offer on the MUA make-up, when you spend £4 you get a free Immaculate Pallet which retails at £4!

So I bought the MUA Eye Dust in shade 1 which is a silvery glitter pigment.

Lip Liner in Softly Lined

and I also bought the Love Hearts Lip balm in Sweet Kiss.

I will be sure the review these products in the next few weeks and let you know what I think!

Leave a comment below any requests you have!
