Review: NYX Nude on Nude Pallet with swatches

Hi,
Today I am going to be reviewing the NYX Nude on Nude pallet.  I purchased mine from TK Maxx in the UK and paid £14.99.  It is available on the NYX web site for $25.

This pallet has 20 eye shadows and 10 lip colours.

Eye shadows:
I find them to be very pigmented and long lasting with a primer underneath.  You get a variety of paler high light colours along side some copper colours, with your dark drown, black and grey colours.

Row One swatches:

The first 3 shades don't show up well on my pale arm, but they are light flesh tone colours with the 2nd having shimmer.  The next three include the bronze shimmery shade the matt cream and olive green colour also matt. The final 4 have a shimmer bronze shade a shimmery brown, shimmery dark grey and matt black.

Row two swatches:

The first shade is a very pigmented matt white, then a shimmery champaign colour, shimmery lighter copper colour.  A matt lighter grey colour,  a matt dark brown colour- which fills in eye brows very well.  A shimmery taupe colour, a brownish bronze a shimmery dark brown and a shimmery silver/grey.

As the name suggests, it is a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Pallet which is around double the price, and doesn't come with any lip products or as many , or varied eye shadows.

Lip colour swatches:

I do not feel that the lip colours- which are more of a lip gloss texture are as strong as the eye shadows in the pallet.  But you do still get a range to choose from, glittery to satin finish, they have an ok lasting power if applied with a lip brush, but they aren't a range I would reach for regularly like I would with the eye shadows in this pallet.

Overall I feel these eye shadows are incredibly useful, as the contain shimmery colours as well as your matt black, white and brown basics, but the pallet is versatile enough to create a variety of looks.  I feel that this pallet would be excellent for those starting out in make-up, or those with a collection, this would be idea to travel with!  The Lip glosses are still good and would be ideal for a beginner but are not as strong as the eye shadows.
